The Photography Workshop

I've decided to embark on a photography workshop that hopefully will help me take better pictures. Just signed up today and have my first assignment. So we will just have to get in gear and get er done.

Task #1 - getting to know your camera...

Because I'm a bit late with joining this workshop I'm going to post a picture I took a couple of weeks ago. On a hike at a local park came across some beautiful flowers. Lady Slippers.. So I got down on the ground and made the shot.

My biggest struggle with the camera is camera shake/hand shake - so I've been spending a lot of time - just taking my time to help minimize that...

Judging by this picture, you seem to have handled the camera shake issue. This looks nice and sharp.

I'm with the two previous comments. Looks great you can always use a tripod or make a small bean bag for your camera, works a treat.. Les
